Why is my website not working or loading?
Most often the cause is on the server side. A failed plugin or theme update, an expired domain or SSL certificate, a database error, or a hosting outage. Sometimes the site loads for you but not for visitors, which usually points to DNS or caching. We diagnose the exact cause for free and tell you what the repair will take.
Can you fix a 500 internal server error?
Yes. A 500 error means the server hit a problem it could not recover from, usually a PHP error, a plugin conflict, or a corrupted .htaccess file. We read the server logs, find the failing component, and repair it. A site with a 500 error usually comes back the same day.
My site says "Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute." What do I do?
WordPress shows that message during updates and removes it when the update finishes. When it stays, an update failed halfway and left a maintenance lock file behind. Removing the file brings the site back, but the failed update that caused it still needs attention. We clear the lock, finish the update safely, and check nothing else broke.
Can you fix "Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response." in WordPress?
Yes. The JSON response error usually means the WordPress editor lost its connection to the REST API. A security plugin, mixed http and https settings, or a server rule is blocking it. We find which one and repair the connection, so the editor and updates work again.
Why does my site show "Your connection is not private" to visitors?
Visitors see that warning when the SSL certificate on your site has expired, does not match the domain, or some content still loads over http. It scares customers away fast. We reissue the certificate, repair mixed content, and make the padlock show again.
